Doing Business in the Arctic – Iceland I Greenland and North America – Investment and Trade Opportunities

This free conference will discuss trade and investment opportunities between Greenland, Iceland and the United States and Canada as well as other Arctic issues. Panelists and speakers include the minister for foreign affairs in Iceland, representatives from Greenland, Canada and the United States as well as business leaders and specialists from the Arctic region.

Organized by the Icelandic American Chamber of Commerce in New York in partnership with the Wilson Center’s Polar Institute, Greenland Representation in Washington DC, Embassies of Iceland in Washington DC and Ottawa, Consulates of Iceland in New York and Nuuk, Nordic Innovation House New York, and Arctic Economic Council.
Language Practice: A few of our members have informal practice sessions. The levels are for beginners typically at the CERF A1 and A2 levels. The first meets nearly every Tuesday at 7:30pm and every other Friday at 12:30pm Chicago time. Anyone is welcomed to participate in these open format events over Google Meet.
